Traditional Nepali flattened rice – light, crunchy, and incredibly versatile. The thicker Taichin variety is used in the ceremonial Baji set for Newari festivals. Eat it raw with yogurt and pickle, fry it in ghee for a snack, or soak it for quick dal-chiura. Made from select Nepali paddy by traditional stone-pounding.
